ARTC New Teacher Seminar

This course is tailored for individuals embarking on teaching careers via non-traditional certification pathways. It imparts fundamental knowledge and practical skills essential for thriving in diverse educational environments. Whether transitioning from another profession or pursuing a direct route to teaching, participants will acquire vital competencies necessary for success in their roles as educators.

ARTC Methods Seminar

This course has been developed to provide ARTC candidates with crucial instructional strategies and techniques for effectively engaging students and facilitating meaningful learning experiences in diverse educational environments.  Students will delve into a spectrum of pedagogical approaches tailored to address the distinctive needs and complexities encountered in modern-day classrooms.

ARTC 2024 Fall Seminars – Registration is CLOSED. For current ARTC teachers only.

• PAYMENT for the New Teacher Seminar of $1,000 is DUE in full no later than August 15th. Sessions will be held online via Zoom. Instructor: John Scali; Fall I ~ Thursday evenings; August 27 – October 11, 2024;  If a payment plan is needed, the first payment is due no later than August 12th.  You may request a payment plan on the registration form.
• PAYMENT for Methods Seminar of $1,000 is DUE in full no later than October 1st.
  Sessions will be held online via Zoom.  One-week synchronous and one-week asynchronous.  Instructor: Shernette Hayward; Fall II ~ Thursday evenings; October 14 – December 6, 2024.  If a payment plan is needed, the first payment is due September 1st.  You may request a payment plan on the registration form.

ARTC 2025 Spring Seminars – Registration is CLOSED. For current ARTC teachers only.

• PAYMENT for the New Teacher Seminar of $1,000 is DUE in full no later than February 1st. Sessions will be held online via Zoom. Instructor: John Scali; Spring I ~ Thursday evenings; February 6 – March 13, 2025;  If a payment plan is needed, the first payment is due no later than February 1st.  You may request a payment plan on the registration form.
• PAYMENT for Methods Seminar of $1,000 is DUE in full no later than April 1st.

• PAYMENT for Both Seminars of $2,000 is DUE in full no later than May 30 for Summer I ($1000) & June 27 for Summer II ($1000). (See below for the payment schedule) You may request a payment plan on the registration form.

Payments for Non-credited Seminars

• Paying for non-credited courses is a different process than paying for credited courses.
• Payment for non-credited courses is made via the Cashier’s Office.
  • You have two payment options: (have your invoice & customer number available)
    • Pay via ACH (online check) at www.udel.edu/miscpay
    • Pay via credit card by calling the Cashier’s Office at (302) 831-1242
• Payment plans for non-credited courses are as follows:

Fall Semester:
First date is for New Teacher Seminar, date in ( ) is for Method Seminar

• Payment 1 of $334 due by August 12th (September 1st)
• Payment 2 of $333 due by September 1st (October 1st)
• Payment 3 of $333 due by October 1st (November 1st)

Spring Semester:
If you are taking only one seminar, this is your payment schedule:
First date is for New Teacher Seminar, date in ( ) is for Method Seminar

• Payment 1 of $334 due by February 1st (March 1st)
• Payment 2 of $333 due by March 1st (April 1st)
• Payment 3 of $333 due by April 1st (May 1st)

If you are taking both seminars, this is your payment schedule:

• Payment 1 of $500 due by February 1st
• Payment 2 of $500 due by March 1st
• Payment 3 of $500 due by April 1st
• Payment 4 of $500 due by May 1st

Summer Session:

If you are taking only one seminar, this is your payment schedule:
First date is for New Teacher Seminar, date in ( ) is for Method Seminar

• Payment 1 of $250 due by May 30th (June 27th)
• Payment 2 of $250 due by June 13th (July 11th)
• Payment 3 of $250 due by June 27th (July 25th)
• Payment 4 of $250 due by July 11th (August 8th)

If you are taking both seminars, this is your payment schedule:

• Payment 1 of $500 due by May 30th
• Payment 2 of $500 due by June 20th
• Payment 3 of $500 due by July 11th
• Payment 4 of $500 due by August 1st
