Lorraine Carcoura

Academic Advisor, Alternative Routes to Certification (ARTC)

Mrs Carcoura is a recent retiree from the Cecil County School District in Maryland. She also taught in the Caesar Rodney and Christina School Districts in Delaware. Lorraine is certified in regular and special education with 35 years of experience in teaching and instructional coaching.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware, a Master of Instruction degree from the University of Notre Dame of Maryland, and a Strategic Instructional Model Coaching Certificate from the University of Kansas Center for Research on Learning.
Lorraine has taught in Title One and Non-Title One elementary, middle, and high schools. Lorraine is an animal lover and, in her free time, enjoys hiking the trails of local state parks, boating, practicing yoga, and cooking.
