Communicating with UD ARTC
Communication Regarding your Employment
Because your enrollment in UD ARTC is connected to both your employment as a teacher of record and your teaching certification (issued by the Delaware Department of Education), should anything regarding your employment change, it is your responsibility to contact UD ARTC as soon as possible to inform us. Potential changes surrounding your employment include, but aren’t limited to:
- if you resign from your teaching position and/or school
- if you are terminated from your teaching position and/or school
- if you accept a new or different teaching position (either a different content area or a different school or district)
- if you aren’t rehired at your teaching position for the subsequent school year
Should any of these changes occur, it is likely that UD ARTC must file the appropriate paperwork with the Delaware Department of Education. Therefore, timely communication with the the Academic Advisor is essential.
